This year’s parade will feature appearances by Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Anthony Anderson, Willie Garson, Nick Cannon, Missy Elliott, and Nick Jonas.
The 2019 parade will also feature a giant pink balloon inspired by Barbie.
Outside of the parade, a number of other events will be taking place on Thanksgiving, including a marathon of “Klondike” on Discovery, a concert featuring Pharrell Williams, Foo Fighters, Shawn Mendes, and Ariana Grande, and a telethon raising money for the victims of the California wildfires. A number of movies will be releasing this year, including “Aquaman,” “Mary Poppins Returns,” “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” and “Black Panther.”
And on December 24, the women of Harry Potter will come together at the “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” premiere.
The parade will be held this year in Manhattan’s Herald Square and will begin at 8 a.m. Viewers can watch it live on NBC, where it will be aired from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Thursday. A number of “Harry Potter” stars will also appear in a special behind-the-scenes featurette released ahead of the parade.
